Complementary therapies
Many people find that the addition of complementary therapies increases their sense of overall wellbeing. It is really important to discuss your plans with your medical team, as well as with your chosen therapists – not all therapies are safe to mix with all medical treatments. If you don’t have any cancer care or integrative care centres attached to your hospital or clinic, ask your nurses for recommendations. The links below are to a mix of paid and free services, so be sure to ask what costs may be involved.
