Physical wellness
Exercise is great, and we all know the benefits – not just physical wellness, but purposeful movement often feeds us endorphins and makes us feel mentally fitter also.
However, when you’re feeling fatigued, sick and depressed after treatment, it can be hard to get moving. Having a trusted professional, who is experienced in cancer care, to guide and motivate you can be really helpful.
Keep in mind that with some physiotherapists and exercise physiologists you may be able to reduce the financial burden somewhat by utilising Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management Plan – you will need to discuss this referral process with your GP and preferred provider.
